TBT Bike Tech Powered by Inside-Out Sports
Signs Two-Year Agreement With Ironman®

Inside-Out Sports Returns to Ironman® in 2012

In partnership with TriBikeTransport and starting with the 2012 Ironman St. George, taking place on Saturday, May 5 in St. George, Utah, Inside-Out Sports returns to Ironman events to operate the retail bike shop and provide on-course tech support for all Ironman athletes. The newly formed TBT Bike Tech Powered by Inside-Out Sports will sell bikes, wetsuits, technical apparel, shoes and every accessory an Ironman athlete may need, as well as offer bike service and expert advice. TriBikeTransport will continue to provide athletes the most economical, safe and hassle free way to transport their bikes to-and-from different Ironman events. TriBike Transport will also expand its services to include wheel rentals.

“We’re excited to be working with Ironman again”, said Cid Cardoso Jr, owner and founder of Inside-Out Sports and a 26-time Ironman finisher, including an eight-time finisher of the Ironman World Championship. “We’ve always felt that the Ironman athlete is an important segment of the market and that Ironman is not only a valuable partner but a driving force in the growth in our sport. Plus, Ironman racing has always been special to me and we want to make sure that the athletes continue to be taken care of in the best possible way, especially in the last critical days before the event.”

Inside-Out Sports has been a critical component in the retail of technical triathlon equipment on-site at events for nine years, starting with Ironman Lake Placid in 2001. Over that time, Inside-Out Sports has developed guidelines and procedures for race day performance. The two-year commitment includes eight U.S. Ironman events, including the Ironman World Championship, taking place on Oct. 13, 2012 in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i and the Ironman World Championship 70.3, taking place on Sept. 9, 2012 at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, Nev.
