What races (names and distances) do you plan on participating in for 2008?  Mardi Gras Half-Marathon, Boston Marathon, another couple half-marathons and maybe another marathon late in the year.  Probably some 5ks and 10ks, thrown in as the year goes on, it’s always a last minute decision.

What is your favorite race that you have participated in?  Why? The Austin Marathon in Feb. 2007 was a blast because it was my first marathon and the feeling of finishing made all those months of training really worth it.  Also, I ran the St. Jude Half Marathon in Dec. 2007 and went to tour the hospital the day before the race.  Seeing the hospital and what the race was benefiting was a great feeling to know where your race entry dollars and donation dollars were going was really meaningful.  To think about what St. Jude’s does and to see those kids in the hospital who have battled through so much in their lives is such an inspiration!  I’ll definitely be back to Memphis to run in that race.

What are your PR’s for the following distance?

            5K: 17:03

            8K: 29:48               10K: 36:01

            Half Marathon: 1:18:08          Marathon: 2:51:15

Why do you love to run:  Peace, quiet, relaxing.  It’s really a great stress reliever.

What motivates you to get out the door day after day for a run?  Well it helps if I have agreed to meet people to run with, but just the way that you feel after a good run is hard to beat!

What made you want to start running?  Just after college I really wanted to do something and some of my best friends were runners and so I just tied up some shoes and went out there.

What is your dream run or race?  Maybe Boston? Or a run through the snow out west?
