Inside-Out Sports Ironman Transport Service 

Hello North Carolina residents and Ironman competitors. IOS has been servicing NC and the rest of the world since 1996 for all your running, swimming, biking, and triathlon gear.  We know it’s difficult to get all the logistics in place for you, your gear, and your family and still think about your upcoming race. We want to make your life a little bit easier. 

We offer a service which allows you to drop your bike plus a gear bag at either our Cary or Charlotte locations. We have been known to take a set of golf clubs or a cruiser bike for the athlete’s significant other. If you have a special request, we are usually able to accommodate you. Please don’t hesitate to ask. 

Your bike will be transported on our truck. The only thing that comes off is the front wheel so it can sit in the rack. It will arrive at the race and our staff will unload it and put it in the IOS corral inside Ironman Village. You can come and retrieve your bike starting on Thursday morning. Have an awesome race and then you or someone you designate can bring your stuff back to us between 9am and 12pm the morning after the race. Once all the bikes and gear are back we load everything up and drop it back off at the store.  

The specific dates of when your bike needs to be at the store and when to expect it back from the race will be sent to you via email. Each race is a little bit different. 

With the increasing prices of baggage fees at most airlines and the cost of a mechanics time to unpack/assemble and to disassemble/pack your bike far exceeds our fee. If you have any questions, comments or concerns feel free to contact me. Have a great race.
